Individual Threads

Today there were two separate and unrelated threats made by students at Orange Grove Junior High School. Both incidents were investigated, the students received consequences for their action, and the local police department was notified. Regardless of the type or kind of threat made, the school district will take this very seriously and act accordingly. For your information, student assemblies will be held on February 22, 2018, where students will be reminded that the school takes comments and threats of any nature seriously and consequences will be issued.

OGISD's Official Response to Threat

OGISD Community:
 
We received information this weekend on a written threat directed at the high school. Late Sunday evening we began our investigation. We have also made the local authorities aware of the threat and are working closely with the police department. 
 
As of today, our investigation continues. The school district is open and school is in session.
